Plants and animals have a way of surviving the cold weather,some plants can even live in the cold while others need to be warm just underneath the surface,having some sun light. Most fury animals will grow an extra layer of fur to help protect their bodies from the cold weather,they usually dig holes and hide out underground until spring or warmer weather,to protect themselves from the cold and from predators. Some animals will freeze their bodies with the deep freeze,this is not to good for the animal because,some will not survive. You will find that animals like birds will escape to warmer temperatures by flying in record numbers to some place like the south to keep warm.
