Plants will last forever if you properly take care of them,basically just watering them every 3 to four days or when the soil is dry, but,try not to over water them. Fertilize them once per month and also give them plant food every time you water or at lease once or twice a month when you water your indoor plants. You can even feed your outdoors plants as well,than your plants will have shinny and beautiful green leaves.

Many forget to add plant food and fertilizes their plants so they can have a long life, not to much water this will not help grow your plants, you're mostly watering as needed some plants need more water than others,some plants can go up to a whole week before it needs watering. Also make sure your plants have plenty of light or sun light,and don't forget to change the soil at lease once per year.
